MILWAUKEE INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN GALLERIES

The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) houses two art and design galleries—the Frederick Layton Gallery and Brooks Stevens Gallery of Industrial Design—featuring national and international exhibitions. Additional galleries throughout the building showcase student and alumni work. Admission to the galleries is free; public welcome. MIAD is a four-year, nonprofit college that offers nationally recognized Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs, as well as community education programs for youth, adults and teachers.
