PERFORMING ARTS+ ENTERTAINMENT
NEXT ACT THEATRE
Next Act Theatre engages the hearts and minds of audiences with intimate, compelling productions intended to stimulate thought, foster the exchange of ideas and promote the development of new perspectives and understanding. For more than 30 years, Next Act has been committed to entertaining audiences while also making them think with a four-show season of plays that includes timeless revivals and the best of new American theatre.
Next Act's performance venue boasts an intimate 152-seat theatre. The audience is closely wrapped around three sides of the action and no seat is further than six rows from the stage. This performance space houses all four of Next Act's yearly productions, as well as productions from Renaissance Theaterworks and performing arts companies who rent the space. Next Act offers year-round educational programming at the theatre and in-schools as well as its flagship summer educational program, Next Actors: Summer Theatre for Teens.
